Year 6 Owls & Crocodiles

As year 6, all of you will be leaving with new skills, an education, friends, and many good memories. It is important to take away all that we have learnt. What ever it may be, make it an experience which will make a better tomorrow for you and the people around you.

A lot of you may have been with Old Moat from the start of your school years, so over the last 7 odd years you would have seen a lot, learnt a lot and taken a lot away from it all. For the ones who may have joined us after in later years, you also have learnt something.

What ever it may be, tell the school and your friends what you have enjoyed, loved, experienced, seen, and will never forget.

This will be your mark on the school to show “who” and “what” you are!

Make it count!

Year 6 have been designing their own holiday homes. We used Google SketchUp to do this. We learnt how to space items out, how a design of a home works, measurements and materials.

Red Nose Day is on Friday 18th March. It’s a day like no other when the whole country gets together to do something funny for money and change countless lives in the process.

It all culminates in a night of cracking TV on the BBC with some of the biggest names in comedy and entertainment.

It took 2 hours to go to Robinwood. When we got there we were very sad because we missed our Mum and Dad. We went there for 3 days. It was in Todmorden.

Hello, my name is Mahi, I was doing Work Experince while, some of my classmates was in the residential trip to Robin Wood.

Hello, my name is Reben, i was at school  doing work experience while, my classmates were going on a residential trip to robinwood. I  was in year 3 being a TA (teacher assistant) with Rasan, the teachers name i worked with is mrs Mcphillphs.

My trip to Robinwood was amazing!  My favourite thing was the piranha pool it was scary! you had to find clues , robinwood is an out door ativerty cener .

On wednesday 24th november 2010 my freinds went to this adventure place called Robinwood  but i didint go, so the school provided somthing for the children that didnt go called work experiance.
